| After: This ramp looks simple, but it had to be rebuilt three times and then modified another time. It started out too long to use with the garage door closed. It ended up moved back from the garage door and the ramp built steeper. One side board was removed so the van ramp could be lowered directly onto the platform. There is plenty of room on the level platform to turn around and lock the door or to go back in the house without backing in. Note the grab bar on the door to facilitate pulling the door closed. |
