Day 12 of Chemo
I was lying in bed, earphones on, watching the tube. Bill Cosby came on. I was working so hard at being quiet, my laughter came out as sobs. Poor Lew, woke him.
Not a whole lot new. Between us, four doctor visits this week.

Chemo Day 6
Hi Y’all,
I’m going to keep this short.
Lew had a great three days on anti-nausea meds and steroids. He felt better than he has in a very long time. He was hyper and talked non-stop. Sunday evening, the support meds started wearing off.

Chemo - Day 2
When one is told, “No alcohol,” one assumes that one is not to consume any alcoholic beverages. This morning, Lew was almost knocked to his knees by his mouthwash. Even the alcohol fumes that rose into his nose burned. I didn’t see any tissue damage, but his voice was raspy for hours afterward.
