The day after the bike ride, Lew saw a gastroenterologist in the morning and a urologist in the afternoon.  He was scheduled for an upper endoscopy and a colonoscopy on October 5.  The prostate biopsy would have to wait at least ten days after that.

Tomorrow, Lew will be having the upper endoscopy and the colonoscopy.  The purpose is to look for the cause of his anemia.
